Alpine racing cockpit

I purchased this cockpit for my sim racing venue

As i thought it looks visually stunning,and i can say it does in person! Very easy to assemble in about 30 -45 minutes depending on your skill level with tools, i have paired the cockpit with asetek wheel pedals and drive base and also a 49” phillips envia monitor,specifically set up in the formula 1,it is a great rig very solid and looks great peforms great the only thin i can say bad about it is the adjustable bar for seat and pedal tray stick out and depending how tall you are for shorter racers the handles can get really close together making it difficult to get in and out of without putting the seat back and pedal try back after a session which is not really a problem as i have customers of different heights so it needs to be set up individually any way ,so after all im really pleased with it thank you track racer!

Excellent

Awesome rig - I really didn’t understand the whole “flex” thing until I did some laps in the TRX V2. Going from a 15 year old Obutto - what a difference. Assembly wasn’t bad - adjustability is through the roof - only complaint is TR neglected to ship the levers that lock the wheel in place. Basically just two screws, made my own levers. I do recommend.

Full Sim Rig

It is a deeply satisfying sim setup, although the paint is easily chipped. Looks amazing and is solid as a rock paired with Moza R21 DD and mBooster pedal kit.

The universal wheel mount works perfectly and feels extremely solid.

I like the Alpine F1 seat, very light, easy to install but it could come with some more side bolsters.

My biggest issue is the haptic bass shaker. I could really do with a TrakRacer video on how to wire it correctly and the settings used to run it correctly. It is plugged in, but not functioning.

Alpine racing

I used a universal mount for the steering wheel and it does not look like I can stop the steering wheel from sliding back and forth on the rails. No way to lock steering wheel in place. It does take getting used too but everything else is great!

Disappointed

I received my beautiful “plug and play” blue Alpine TRX on Thursday and got it assembled in a couple of hours. So far so good 😊. The quality appears outstanding. Then, time for some fun. I tried to play Assetto Coursa and couldn’t select a gear, then I tried Aotomoblista2 and had no throttle control. I’m not a computer guy, so I have no idea what is wrong. I tried calling Trak Racer and never got through. I must have tried 2 dozen times through out the day. Zip, nada, nobody. Costner service is non existent. So here I sit, wasting the weekend not being able to figure out what’s wrong. Plug & play, not so much 😥
