Shipping Policy

  • All Trak Racer orders are shipped by the fastest and safest method. Please allow between 5-10 business days for delivery. Shipping charges will vary depending on the size of your order and your shipping destination. Please advise your phone number at checkout so we can get in touch with you if there is any problem.
  • Please make sure someone will be available to receive your order, otherwise, your package may be diverted to your local post office or to your local shipping depot. We recommend all deliveries are sent to a business address to avoid any re-delivery charges.
  • Trak Racer will ship to confirmed addresses only.
  • If an item runs out of stock before your order is processed, a refund will be offered via the same means as your original payment. 
  • Order Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) - where an item is out of stock, we will endeavour to provide an approximate ETA. ETA's should be used as a guide only, as it is an estimate and this timeline can be impacted by unforeseen factors due to the nature of international supply chains. We will advise if there are significant changes to any previous stated ETA and work with you accordingly.
  • The buyer is responsible for any destination import tax/charges (if applicable).

Our Returns Policy 

We want you to be completely happy with your Trak Racer product. If something is not quite right, then get in contact with us and we will sort it out for you. If you are not completely happy with your purchase you can return it to us provided the following conditions are met: 

  • You must return your order within 14 days of the dispatch date. 
  • The item/s must be unused and not previously installed. 
  • All accessories must be returned. 
  • If the item/s have been used a restocking fee may apply following a detailed inspection.
  • Internal/external damage has not been caused due to improper installation, misuse or incorrect service.

Making a Return

To return merchandise simply complete the Return Authorisation form available by first emailing support@trakracer.com along with a detailed explanation of the problem and photos/videos if you think this will help us understand the problem. The completed form will need to be enclosed with your securely packed order and posted back to the address on the Return Authorisation form provided. Please ensure adequate postage is affixed, as Cash on Delivery returns will not be accepted. 

We also recommend you send your return back via a trackable method of postage, as Trak Racer will not be responsible for lost or missing parcels, and all goods are your responsibility until they reach our warehouse. IMPORTANT: Returns without a Return Authorisation form included will be returned to at the customer’s expense.

Return Credits

We will credit your original method of payment, excluding postage charges unless otherwise agreed to. The refund will be processed once your goods are received into our warehouse and checked. Goods must be 100% complete and in the same condition you received them in. Please note that it may take up to 4 working days for the refunds to show in your account. 

Faulty Items

Trak Racer does its best to ensure that all customers receive top quality and faultless products. In the situation where you believe that a product is faulty, or different from the description provided on the website, please contact support@trakracer.com, and we will resolve the issue as quickly as possible. If you feel that your return falls outside of our policy, then please contact the Trak Racer Support via support@trakracer.com. If you feel that photos or videos of the problem will help Trak Racer in the first instance please ensure these are included in your first communication to support@trakracer.com. We want to make sure that you happy with your Trak Racer purchase so in the event of an issue, we'll work with you to resolve.

    Trak Racer TR8 Pro Racing Cockpit

    The TR8 Pro is an upgraded version of the popular Trak Racer TR8. From 2018 to 2021, the TR8 was the King of Sims. It ticks all of the boxes for a Sim Rig that assembles in 30-60 minutes. It's Strong, Adjustable, and has an Integrated Monitor Stand. In the usual Trak Racer way, we gathered customer feedback from over 10,000 TR8 owners to develop the TR8 PRO.

    Strengthened Pedal Plate

    The TR8 PRO has been improved to withstand up to 180kgs of braking for force without flex. We have also added pre-drilled mounting points for more new pedal sets on the market and the slide function on the TR8 remains - so you can get those pedals exactly where you need them!

    More Adjustable and Strengthened Wheel Mount

    We have added a wheel mount slider to the TR8 PRO to give you 130mm forward and back adjustment with the use of proprietary ball-bearing-assisted sliders. We have also strengthened the 2" tube to withstand up to 30nm direct drive steering wheel torque without flex.

    More Adjustable and Strengthened Left or Right Side Shifter Mount

    The shifter mount has been strengthened by increasing the thickness of the mount and also the plate on the simulator that it mounts to. We have even added mounting points to enable the shifter mount to move forwards and back.

    Optional Overhaul of Integrated Monitor Stand 

    The integrated monitor stand will become optional and now has height adjustment for the monitor, and also forward and back adjustment. The complete design has been improved to provide a more rock-solid mount.

                Good rig for the price

                Overall it is pretty good. Some stuff doesn’t line up perfectly so you have to do some wiggling and moving of the frame around to get the bolts in but it wasn’t terrible. The most annoying thing was the reclining seat bracket. I had to drill out some of the holes for them to work. Not sure why you wouldn’t just drill the holes a little bigger so there is some play since it comes with washers for all the bolts.

                I also bought the monitor/tv bracket and it was the most frustrating thing I’ve done in a long time. The instructions are only on the rig pdf and I’m saying instructions very loosely. First issue I ran into was trying to put the brackets on the mount and attach it to the tv. Most tv brackets home with two separate pieces that bolt together for which tv size you have. Not these…it’s one size and if your tv isn’t big enough you will see them at the bottom. Not a huge deal but I tried so many different ways of attaching them and that was the only way. Then I moved onto mounting the main bracket to the rig. What a nightmare!!!! You get a plate that mounts to the Rig first with counter sunk holes in it for the screws. I put the screws in and they aren’t long enough to get the nuts to thread on! Not sure why they came with washer also because the screws aren’t long enough for just the nut to thread. After an hour and a half of messing with this thing I found screws I had laying around and just used them. Once again I’m not sure why they are trying to be so exact with…

                TR8 Pro

                Après trois années avec un chassis de base (280 € avec siège) j'ai hésité a changé. Aujourd'hui, après avoir essayer le TR8 depuis deux semaines, je me demande comment j'ai pu conduire avant! Siège auto homologué, chassis TR8 hyper rigide, pédales roue et siège a mes dimensions, les chronos sont descendus de plus d'1 seconde!!! A essayé absolument

                Thoughts on the rig and company

                I pre-ordered my Trak Racer TR8 Pro and GT seat a few months ago and its finally now arrived. I had been looking at various rigs due to updating my old Playseat as getting a new DD wheel and wanted a more sturdy solution. Its was a big upgrade from my excising set up and I finally decided on Trak Racer based on numerous factors. I love the look of the rigs compared to some other brands and really like the choice of seats and accessories available on the website ,now the rig has arrived and is fully assembled I can confirm it looks even better in real life. If thinking of making a purchase here are my thoughts on the rig and Trak Racer themselves.

                The rig is superb , sturdy construction and looks great. Delivery was spot on and received text updates about its progress. Shipping for the rig seat and mat came to about £77 here in the UK so budget that in.

                Assembly took me and the wife about two hours but the instructions are simple and well laid out. Seat mounting was a bit fiddly but nothing to bad and once its on its on.

                I couldn’t be more happy with this rig as it ticks every box for me in both size looks and construction. Now onto Trak Racer themselves. Throughout the process of me looking at rigs I had many questions ranging from plate dimensions to delivery questions and so on as its a big purchase so you need it to be right. Trak Racer were the only manufacturer who replied promptly and answered my questions fully and concisely. Having worked in customer service myself…

                Unbelievable rig

                So after a couple of years away from Sim Racing, in between my motorcycle racing seasons i sold all my old kit and really regreted it after the quality of some other brands i tried recently, Trak Racer were reffered to me through the guys at UpShift in Newcastle, amazing squad of guys know exactly what they're talk about and gave me great advice, so cant thank them enough and Trak Racer serious for the money its the best piece of equipment i have ever purchased unbelievable quality and support fianlly built the rig ive always wanted, for now!!! Give it a few months and it'll be upgrade time haha, seriously im definitely a lifelong customer, Fantastic!!

                First rig

                Couldn’t decide between this rig and a 80/20. Very happy with my choice. Arrived before they said and came in reasonable sized packages. Easy to assemble. Very solid. Looks great and leaves a small footprint.

                Chair looked a bit cheap but is bigger than expected and very comfortable. Instructions could have been a little more clear in places. My 49 ultra wide shakes a bit when in use but remains sturdy with the integrated single monitor stand but I don’t notice when I’m using it. The gear and handbrake position is ok. If planning to use a buttkicker the current solution is not ideal so you may want to accept how it is or think outside the box.

                Overall very happy especially at this price point. Would love to see a metal floor pan accessory and some affordable motion in the future…fingers crossed
